The company was founded in 1970 by Gene Blunn, who is the owner of A Plus Roofing and Gutters, which makes us one of the oldest roofing companies in Eastern Iowa. We serve a 60-mile radius around Cedar Rapids that include areas such as Independence, Iowa City, La Porte City, Riverside, Dyersville and Monticello IA. However, due to intense growth and progression of the company we now have managed to expand into areas such as DeWitt, Davenport, Durant and more.

The roots of our company are deep in Cedar Rapids, where A Plus Roofing and Gutters was founded. We have grew from being a small family-owned local roofing contractor business to a well-known roofing company that has earned an A+ rating accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has completed hundreds of residential and commercial roofing projects across Eastern Iowa. Regardless of our achievements and growth, the sense of family and belonging on which our company was founded on is still there and no matter how big we will get, our goal is to make our team members and customers feel like they are being treated like family.
