Johnson County Supervisor Rod Sullivan goes for symbolism over substance

This is a repost from 2014. Why? Because it points to Sullivan's lack of integrity and character. Does Rod Sullivan deserve your vote?

From Johnson County Supervisor Rod Sullivan's blog, Sullivan's Salvos, his comments are in response to the recent Ferguson and NYC grand jury decisions and also motivated by some mail he received recently:
At last Thursday’s Board meeting, I replaced my nameplate with a sign that said, “Black lives matter!” In the big scheme of things, this action does not amount to much. But it does clearly state my concern.
While the letter Sullivan received was totally uncalled for, I think Sullivan totally missed the mark when it comes to publicly stating a concern over the matters of Ferguson and NYC.
For a person so bent on symbolism, shouldn't the sign have read, "All lives matter!" ?
His little sign (and his concern) wasn't color blind. True leaders possess that characteristic. Sullivan went Al Sharpton.
Spot on with this Mike!!!!
