Thousands of people will join RAGBRAI riders when they Book it to Iowa City for a big bash on Friday, July 27. All entertainment is free and open to the public.
The Jayhawks, from the Twin Cities, and Blitzen Trapper, from Portland, Oregon, will headline the main stage, and will be joined by distinguished Iowa City singer-songwriter, Elizabeth Moen, and Soul/Rock band James Tutson and the Rollback. The main stage will be located at Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue and entertainment will run from 4 to 10 p.m.
In addition to the main stage, a side stage at Washington and Linn streets will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. featuring a variety of local live music, a break dancing competition, and a DJ competition and dance party. Yard games will line Dubuque Street, and free movies will play at the Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn St., and the Senior Center, 28 S. Linn St.
