Noelridge Aquatic Center Open Memorial Day Weekend

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The Cedar Rapids municipal pool swimming season will begin Memorial Day weekend with pre-season swimming at Noelridge Aquatic Center on Saturday, May 26; Sunday, May 27; and Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day). Lap swims will be held from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. each day and open swims from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday. A “kick-off” swim will be held at all outdoor municipal pools on Friday, June 1 with lap swims from 5:15-6:15 p.m. and open swims from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Regular season swimming begins at all pools on Saturday, June 2. The pre-season swimming schedule follows:

Saturday, May 26 & Sunday, May 27

Open Swim 1:00-6:00 p.m.

Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day)

All Pools Open

Lap Swim 5:15-6:15 p.m.

Open Swim 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Summer Swim Passes and punch cards are available for purchase. Season passes provide admission to Water Exercise classes and Open, Family, Adult and daily Lap Swims as age appropriate. The passes are valid May 19, 2018, through September 3, 2018. Early Bird prices are available if passes are purchased on or before May 19, 2018. Go to for more information on passes and the season dates for each pool.

Punch cards may be used by an individual, a group or transferred to another person for any age appropriate public swim and water exercise class. The cost is $68. No photo is required. The passes expire on the 16th punch or September 3, 2018, whichever comes first. Punch passes may be purchased at Bever, Ellis or Jones Pools before noon or after 2:00 p.m. or at Cherry Hill or Noelridge Aquatic Centers anytime they are open.
