If you think the corridor area doesn't have many golf courses to choose from, think again. The golf scene in the corridor is excellent.
The area boasts of several courses offering championship level play and all of the courses in the corridor are recognized and/or award winning in some way.
Each course offers their own flavor and personality ranging from the rolling hills of Brown Deer, to the diverse vistas of Riverside, to the timelessness of Finkbine. Prices suit most budgets and are blessed with challenging play.
Brown Deer - This 18-hole, 170-acre course in Coralville offers some of the most picturesque and challenging golf in the Midwest. Surrounded by the extraordinary landscaping and natural beauty of the countryside, players experience countless risks and rewards from the tee to the well-groomed green.
Finkbine - Home of the Hawkeyes! Finkbine Golf Course is the University of Iowa Department of Athletics championship golf course and is home to the Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Teams. Finkbine has been the home to numerous NCAA tournaments plus the Amana VIP Classic, and 1991 Hogan Tour, and 1992 and 1993 Nike Tour Hawkeye Classic tournaments.
Hi Point - Rurally located two miles east of Iowa City, Hi Point is a scenic 18 hole, par 70 course. Family owned and operated, the course provides an exceptional golf experience to customers at an affordable price.
Pleasant Valley - Featuring a Florida-style layout that offers an enjoyable experience for all who play, this Iowa City course has four sets of tees, driving range, practice bunker and a practice green to help you improve your game.
Quail Creek - A 9-hole course located in North Liberty just off Highway 965, it has challenging fairways and water is in play on four holes. Touted by the Iowa PGA.
Riverside Casino & Golf Resort - Designed by Rees Jones, a designer of championship golf courses, Blue Top Ridge at Riverside is nationally recognized as a top course to play. Spanning over 7,400 yards, it offers play overlooking two rivers, man made lakes and diverse terrain.
