A different way to do grilled chicken
Never Forget What Happened 12 Years Ago, Today

An excellent day for yardwork

By Mike Thayer

It's 65 degrees out, partly cloudly, there's a slight breeze.....   Finally, spring is here!

Hyacinth 004After getting the grass cut for the first time this year, I got busy planting some more cold tolerant veggies.  I planted another couple rows of Lincoln peas (I put in two rows last weekend), another couple rows of radish (two rows planted last week) and another row of spinach (one row planted last week).  Pushing the envelope a bit and hoping we don't get a damaging frost beyond Mother's Day and the germination time, I also put in four rows of lettuce, some basil and a row of carrots.

In two weeks, it's pepper, tomato and everything else time!

Get out there and play in the dirt!
