Yard Waste Collection Begins March 20

Yard Waste Collection Dates

Beginning the week of March 20, yard waste collection resumes in Coralville with curbside yard waste pickup on regular garbage collection days. The yard waste collection season lasts until late November, weather permitting.

Coralville Yard Waste Bags & Stickers

Place yard waste in a Coralville biodegradable yard waste bag, or place it in a 33-gallon container that has an annual yard waste sticker. There is a 40 pound weight limit per bag / container.

Coralville biodegradable yard waste bags, available for $5 for five bags, are sold at Lowe's, Coralville Hy-Vee, Theisen's, and Coralville City Hall. The 2017 annual yard waste stickers are on sale at City Hall for $25 each.

Beginning in spring 2017, our yard waste bags have a new design with yard waste information and tips. Coralville yard waste bags purchased prior to spring 2017 will still be accepted for curbside pickup.

Brush & Tree Limbs

Curbside pick up of brush and tree limbs is available during yard waste collection season on your regular trash / recycling day at no charge. Brush and tree limbs must be tied in bundles, with each bundle under 18 inches in diameter. Individual limbs in the bundles should be no larger than 2 inches in diameter and 4 feet long.
